Graduate students in the Department of Aviation Master's Degree Program are encouraged to apply for scholarships. General scholarship information is available and departmental scholarships may be awarded depending on the availability of funds.
For the 2018-2019 academic year, a single $1000 award is available for an MS student. The criteria are as follows:
- Demonstrated financial need
- Demonstrated progress toward degree or outline of strong research agenda
- Good academic standing or unconditional admission
Applicants shall address the criteria in a one to two page essay, submitted to the graduate director by May 15. A graduate faculty committee will review the applications and the graduate faculty as a whole will vote to determine the awards.
