What is Adobe Connect?
Adobe Connect is used to conduct live meetings with both distance and local UND students. The instructor uses the program to broadcast his or her lecture and class discussions to students who are unable to attend class in person. Distance students are able to participate live in class discussions and presentation situations. The system uses video and audio, and also records class sessions so they can be played back later. You will use your web browser to access Adobe Connect, at http://connect.aero.und.edu/. Your instructor might also choose to provide a link to your Connect meeting from your eZ LMS class site.
What is my Adobe Connect account login info? Was it created for me when I registered?
If you are a new student, you should receive an email with your login name and password. This email will be sent to the address you provided to UND or your instructor. If you did not receive an email at this address, be sure to check your UND campus email address as well. If you have taken a distance class using Connect (formerly known as Breeze) before, you WILL NOT receive an email. Your account will still be active from the prior course. If you don't remember your password, use the Forgotten Password tool, and your password will be emailed to you.
What kind of computer and software do I need in order to use Connect?
Follow the technical requirements of this degree program, and you'll be fine. Complete technical requirements are available by clicking on the Requirements link on this site. Scroll down to Technical Requirements. For the Adobe recommended requirements click here The first time you log in to Adobe Connect, you may be asked to download Adobe Presenter. It is a free download and takes only a few minutes. You should also have a USB microphone/headset to properly transmit and receive audio. This can be purchased for around $20 from most major electronics or office-supply stores. A web cam is not required by most classes, but can be used with Connect. Note: You are strongly advised against using a wireless connection while attending live class sessions.

We encourage you to take advantage of the tutorials provided on the Getting Started page. Additionally, you may access Adobe Connect's help files by clicking on Help in the top right corner of your Adobe Connect screen (you must be logged in to Connect to use this feature).
I heard someone talk about online classes using Breeze. Is Connect the same thing?
If you've taken distance courses with us in the past, you'll notice that Adobe Connect and Breeze are indeed extremely similar. In 2006, Breeze was re-named "Connect" by Adobe, and many features have been added, but it is the same type of system and serves the same purposes for students and instructors.
I have an issue with Adobe Connect that is not addressed here, in the tutorials above, or in Adobe Connect's Help. How can I get help?
